What blogroll.co.uk is

blogroll.co.uk is a paid-placement advertising board operated by Domain Farm Ltd (company no. 13544286, VAT GB435224124), Vantage House, Euxton, UK ("we", "us", "our"). We sell public placement on a ranked list ("the board"). This is advertising, not a search-engine optimisation service, a directory submission service, or a link-building scheme, and it is not gambling, a lottery, or any form of chance-based product - rank is determined entirely by the amount paid, with no random or chance element whatsoever.

How ranking works

  • Each entry's rank is its cumulative total amount paid to us for that URL.
  • The entry with the highest total is #1; entries are ordered highest-to-lowest total paid.
  • If two entries have an equal total, the older entry (the one that reached that total first) ranks higher.
  • A new entry requires a minimum payment of £5. Topping up an existing entry requires a minimum payment of £1. All amounts are whole pounds.
  • Submitting the same URL again (after normalising away "www." and trailing slashes, scheme, query string and fragment) merges with your existing entry - your new payment is added to your existing total, it does not replace it.
  • Being outbid by another entry moves you down the board. You are never removed from the board for being outbid - your position simply reflects your total relative to everyone else's.
  • There is no mechanism to lower an entry's total or "buy down" a competitor. Totals only ever increase.

Payment

All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Prices shown include VAT. All payments are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to: changing your mind, being subsequently outbid, dissatisfaction with your position on the board, or your entry later being hidden or blocklisted under the "What we won't list" section below. By ticking the confirmation box on the submission form and completing payment, you accept this.

What we won't list

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, hide, or remove any entry - including one that has already been paid for - if it links to content that is illegal under UK law, sexually explicit, hateful, deceptive/scam-related, malware-distributing, or otherwise brings the board into disrepute. Removing or hiding an entry under this section does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid. We may also maintain a blocklist of domains that are rejected before payment is taken.

Links, SEO and "nofollow"

Every link on the board carries rel="sponsored nofollow", in line with Google's guidance on paid links. We are selling visibility and referral traffic from our board, not search-engine ranking benefit. Do not buy a placement expecting an SEO "backlink" effect - representing it that way would be a link-scheme violation and we don't do that.

Accuracy of listed sites

We do not review, endorse, or vouch for the content of any listed site beyond the basic checks described above. You are responsible for the content at the URL you submit.

Independent

blogroll.co.uk is an independent product of Domain Farm Ltd and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other leaderboard or directory site.

Data we hold

We only ever store your submitted site name, URL, tagline and payment amount once Stripe confirms your payment - nothing is stored if you abandon checkout. Your email address is collected by Stripe for your payment receipt and kept in our payment audit trail for accounting and dispute-handling purposes; we do not use it for marketing.
